Event planning didn’t just become a business for me… it became a calling. I’ve always loved making people feel special. I truly believe in giving people their roses while they’re here — celebrating them, loving on them, and creating moments they’ll never forget. Life is meant to be experienced, and I love being a part of those experiences.

 

The name Maison Serenity has a very personal meaning to me. During some of the hardest seasons of my life, one thing that grounded me was the Serenity Prayer:

 

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

the courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference…”

 

That first part was something I repeated almost daily. Over time, it gave me peace. It gave me clarity. It gave me serenity.

 

When it came time to name my business, I asked myself: What do I want my clients to feel? What feels authentic to me? And the word Serenity came to me — and it was the one. It just made sense.

 

Maison means “home” in French, and together, Maison Serenity represents a home of peace, beauty, and intentional moments.

 

And truthfully, without God, none of this would exist. He carried me through the seasons that built me, placed this vision on my heart, and gave me the courage to step into it. This business is more than creativity — it’s faith in action.

 

For me, this never feels like work. It feels like purpose. I genuinely love what I do, and I pour my heart into every detail because I know these moments matter.
